Before You Start

Four decisions to make before registering

The wrong country or business activity makes later licence changes, address supplements or re-done banking files expensive. We verify against your actual business before anything is submitted.

01

Where will you operate

Confirm customers, suppliers, payment regions and the real place of operations. The UAE, Saudi Arabia and Bahrain follow different setup routes.

02

What exactly will you do

Describe products, services and transaction methods. Business activity shapes the licence class, foreign-ownership terms, office requirements and any industry approvals.

03

Who holds and manages it

Individual and corporate shareholders need different documents. If a Chinese company holds shares, outbound investment and fund paths must also be reviewed.

04

Visa and account after setup

Office, visa quota, corporate account and tax registration are best considered before registration, to avoid restructuring later.

Not sure where to register? Send the business details first

Target country, business activity, shareholder type, visa needs and account needs — we verify viable routes against these five points.

Popular Jurisdictions

UAE, Saudi Arabia or Bahrain — how to choose

Don't compare registration fees alone. Business activity, customer location, office, visas, tax and banking usually matter more than "which side is cheaper".

United Arab Emirates

Decide Mainland or Free Zone first, then confirm business activities, licence, registered address or office, and visa needs. A Free Zone does not mean automatic exemption from corporate income tax — eligibility depends on qualification, income and compliance conditions.

AED 375,000Mandatory VAT registration threshold for resident businesses

Under the corporate tax basic rules, taxable profit up to this amount is taxed at 0% and the excess at a base rate of 9%; specific conditions must be verified separately.

UAE

Saudi Arabia

Foreign investors should verify investment registration, foreign-ownership terms and industry licences for the specific activity before arranging incorporation. Whether a local shareholder, extra approvals or particular office conditions are needed cannot be answered uniformly across industries.

15% VATSaudi standard VAT rate

Scope, registration and filing obligations are judged by the actual business.

Saudi Arabia

Bahrain

Commercial registration and licensing run through the Sijilat system. Most sectors allow 100% foreign ownership, but restricted activities need separate verification. Confirm activity, shareholders, officers and account needs together before choosing the entity type.

10% VATBahrain standard VAT rate

Actual registration and tax obligations depend on the company’s operations.

Other Middle East markets: for Qatar, Oman, Kuwait and others, routes are reviewed case by case by country, activity and shareholder structure.

How We Help

From business verification to delivery of company documents

The registration path is settled first, then documents, applications and delivery advance step by step. You always know the current stage, the next action and what follows.

01

Verify country and activity

Confirm whether the business can run under the intended entity type, and whether foreign-investment limits, industry licences or extra approvals apply.

02

Set shareholders and name

Prepare name, shareholding, directors or managers and signatories for individual or corporate shareholders.

03

Issue the document list

Separate identity, address, corporate, authority and business-description documents; translation, notarisation or legalisation items are listed separately.

04

Lodge setup and licence applications

File along the confirmed route and follow up supplements, signatures or authority requests. Approval rests with the local authority.

05

Verify and deliver documents

After registration, organise the certificates, licences or commercial registration records and explain what to keep and use.

06

Handle post-registration matters

Continue with tax, corporate account files, visas, notarisation, ODI, trademarks and maintenance as needed.

Already have a target country and business? Send the country, activity, shareholder type and visa needs and we will map your sequence.

Document Preparation

Prepare these first; top up whatever is missing

Requirements vary by country and activity. We issue the list for the final route — no pile of unused documents upfront.

01Individual shareholders

Passport or other ID, address proof, contact details, plus director, manager or authorised signatory information.

02Corporate shareholders

Existing company registration documents, articles or equivalents, director and shareholder details, ultimate beneficial owner information and any authority documents.

03The new company

Reserved names, business activities, shareholding percentages, capital arrangements, plus office, visa headcount and operating plans.

04Business description

Main customer and supplier regions, products or services, transaction methods, payment currencies, and existing contracts, orders, websites or platforms.

05Notarisation and legalisation

Corporate documents, authority documents or documents for overseas use are confirmed separately by issuing place and place of use.

06Bank due-diligence files

For account opening later: source of funds, business contracts, transaction background, expected flows and customer/supplier information. Banks run KYC independently.

Document names and validity follow the current requirements of the target country, authority, free zone or bank.

Don't drop the follow-up items once the company is in hand

After registration, tax, accounts, filings or document legalisation can continue as needed.

After Formation

Four categories to review every year

Formation is not the finish line. What applies depends on jurisdiction, activity, income, staff, licences and shareholder changes.

01

Licence and registry maintenance

Track renewals, registered address, officers, shareholders and activity changes; update as required.

02

Tax and bookkeeping

Confirm tax registration, filing cycles, accounting records and any audit or financial requirements.

03

Bank and transaction records

Keep contracts, invoices, bank statements and vouchers so actual transactions match the account business description.

04

Visas and staffing

If visas or employees are configured, handle visas, employment and renewals under local requirements.

How Quotes Are Built

The registration fee is only one part

We quote by actual need. Before the country, licence, address and visas are set, no single "lowest price" should mix different plans.

Want a fee list you can verify?

Send the target country, entity type and whether address or visas are needed. We quote item by item, separating government fees, service fees and optional items.

Government and licence feesGovernment charges vary by entity type, activity, jurisdiction and licence items.
Address and officeSome plans involve a registered address, physical office or premises tied to visa quotas.
Visa and status proceduresIf shareholders, officers or staff need visas, costs are counted by headcount and item.
Translation and legalisationCorporate documents, authority documents or documents for overseas use are charged per document.
Tax and financeTax registration, bookkeeping, filings and audits depend on jurisdiction and actual operations.
Accounts and other servicesBank account files, ODI, trademarks and later services are quoted separately — never bundled by force.

FAQ

The questions clients ask most

Can a Middle East company be registered remotely?

It depends on the country, entity type, activity and identity-verification requirements. If visas, bank accounts or in-person signings are involved, some stages may need your participation — these are listed separately before we start.

Do UAE free zone companies never pay corporate income tax?

No. Any preferential corporate tax treatment depends on qualification, income type and compliance conditions — it cannot be assumed from "free zone company" status alone.

Does a Saudi company always need a local shareholder?

Not across the board. Investment registration, foreign-ownership terms and industry licences must be verified for the specific activity before the shareholder structure is set.

Is a bank account guaranteed after registration?

No. Banks independently review shareholders, business, source of funds, transaction regions, contracts and other KYC material. We help prepare and pre-review files but make no approval promises on the bank’s behalf.

Do corporate shareholders’ Chinese documents need notarisation?

It depends on the issuing place, destination country, receiving body, purpose and current requirements. Do not complete a full legalisation set before confirming — check the exact steps with us first.

Does a Chinese company investing in a Middle East company need ODI?

Registration and ODI are separate matters. When a Chinese enterprise makes an outbound direct investment through establishment, acquisition or stake-taking, the investment structure and fund arrangements must be assessed together.

Why can’t you quote one price and timeline now?

Country, activity, entity type, government fees, office, visas, legalisation and extra licences all change cost and duration. Settle the registration route first, then a written project list is far more accurate.

Send five pieces of information and we’ll map the registration

Send the five items above. We will map viable registration routes, document gaps and fee ranges before confirming whether to start.

  • The target country, or countries you are comparing
  • The products or services you plan to operate
  • Individual shareholding or holding via an existing company
  • Whether office, shareholder or employee visas are needed
  • Whether a corporate bank account, ODI or tax services are needed

Actual conditions, timelines, fees, licences and account approvals follow the local authorities, financial institutions and the written service scope agreed by both parties.
